Posisi : Instrument Engineer

Profile Summary :

• Instrument Engineer is responsible for manufacturing processes and control systems to continually develop the manufacturing equipment to ensure an efficient and reliable operation as required by the manufacturing and project engineering teams.

Responsibilities :

• Lead technical resource for the manufacturing equipment control systems and calibration.
• Identify areas of electrical and instrument reliability through data analysis and implement improvement changes with sound financial justification.
• Take the Lead in investigating the feasibility of improvement ideas from others. Where appropriate take these plans though the justification, planning and implementation phases.
• Support the maintenance technician team by providing all round support.
• Maintain a system for software back-ups making sure that the latest versions are registered and always available for use.
• Embrace and encourage others to use the change management process to ensure that risk assessments and equipment changes are correctly implemented – especially pertinent following software changes.
• Maintenance for fire alarm conditions, CCTV, access control and all instruments at site.
• Monitor and analyze energy use in the company to match the KPIs that have been set.
• Support the project team by advising on equipment layout, creating control philosophies and integration into existing manufacturing structure.
• Mentor the maintenance technicians to provide the right skills to allow them to carry out day to day maintenance of the new equipment.

Qualifications :

• Minimum holds Bachelor Electrical/Electronic in Engineering
• Minimum Having 3 years of experience in the relevant position
• Ability to design, configure, create the structure of a new PLC program and demonstrate an understanding of networking PLC’s and peripheral devices.
• Demonstrate experience of AC vector Variable speed drives, high speed servo drives and flow meters and load cells.
• Knowledge of how current safety legislation is applied to safety control systems
• Have experience in a operational environment, maintenance environment and project leadership
• Demonstrate an understanding of good business acumen in relation to project justification and cost control.
